My skin isn't TERRIBLE but i do have a few blemishes, I wash my face every morning and night, but i do wear makeup almost every day. What face wash or cleanser do you use to help your skin, or what do you recommend for me?What face wash or cleanser do you personally recommend for clearer skin?
There are some zits that you just can't avoid. It's guaranteed that no matter what you do, you will get the occasional breakout from hormones and stress. Medicated cleansers can cause overdrying, so once you find a facial cleanser that doesn't make anything worse and that you like, stick with it. In addition to your skin care routine it is very important to develop the following habits:
1. regularly wash or discard make-up applicators and brushes.
2. discard old make-up.
3. try to be aware of your hands and keep them off your face.
4. clean your telephone often
5. change your pillowcases weekly or twice a week and skip the fabric softener. You might want to switch to a sensitive brand detergent. What face wash or cleanser do you personally recommend for clearer skin?
Try using ST IVES APRICOT SCRUB for blackheads/blemishes this is a great deep cleaning exfoliator that gets down under the skin it will definetley help prevent future breakouts great for pores and blackheads ive had major problems with acne for almost 7 years and i have tried everything (no exaggeration) and st ives has by far worked the best for me and its only $3 cant beat that my skin has never behaved so well!!! lol Great for removing scars My new fave is the invigorating cleanser same effect just more gentle i use this now daily and the scrub 2-3 times weekly
for a natural solution, soap up your face with some bar soap, then take a bit of sugar and spread it around your face. sugar is a natural exfoliator. finish up with a touch bit of honey as a moisturizer. i swear this really works. i had a few blemishes and they were GONE the day after I used the sugar! it really helps!
u dont have to buy all that fancy stuff like proactiv or the skinid cause that stuff is overrateed and too expensive.
what i do to keeo my skin clear all the time is wash it and scrub it with a damp washcloth with clean and clear deep action cleanser or the pore cleanser(can buy this at walmrt for like $5)
and i use this techniqe every morning and night to keep my face looking nice and clean..and for extra care, if u buy those little pad things that u r supposed to use to get rid of the excess dirts and oils on ur skin that should help too.(dunno what they r called, but u can get them at walmart i this little container..)
and i keep those in my backpack and apply that to my face in the bathroom whenever i get a chance..anyways, thats the way i keep my face clean and i hope it does the same for u!!
Hope that helped!
I use Proactive and it works great for me. A lot of people think that it doesn't work but you just have to stick with it for a while and then it starts to kick in. Some things that my friends use are the Deep Action Cream Cleanser (which gives you a tingly feeling after it is done)

Neutrogena clear pore daily cleanser/mask
I use proactive daily for my face. I think it's great, but I don't use the whole system- just the wash.
