What is the difference between a face wash and a cleanser?

I have a smooth good skin, im 19. No pimples, blemishes or anything. I only use Clean %26amp; Clear's face wash. Is it necessary to use a cleanser as well? I follow the face wash with a toner and moisturizer.What is the difference between a face wash and a cleanser?
i think if your skin is already flawless then you shouldn't need to worry.
